Sleater-Kinney on The Henry Rollins Show

I’ve been putting off some thoughts concerning the dismantling of one of the better bands around these days, Sleater-Kinney. Fortunate enough, I was able to see the band perform last summer and it was an amazingly positive experience. Last years’s album, The Woods, came and went with such power and emotion that it’s no wonder it was sucked up and accepted as fast as it was. The announcement of the impending break-up came as a shock to me last week and I hope that the band will not soon be forgotten. Here’s some excellent stuff from the very first edition of The Henry Rollins Show, a performance and interview from one of my favorites from this past year, Sleater-Kinney.
