Souls of Mischief feat. Prince Paul “LaLaLa”

souls of mischief montezuma's revenge

I have been trying to find a version of the new Souls of Mischief track “LaLaLa” that doesn’t have the annoying band commentary recorded over the music, but unfortunately I don’t think I will be able to get it until the new record Montezuma’s Revenge drops November 10. Regardless, even with Opio and Tajai reminding you mid-song just what you are listening to, the track still sounds pretty good. The golden era legends haven’t had many hits since their earth shattering debut 93 ’til Infinity (recorded, of course, in 1993), but with Prince Paul on board to produce here’s to hoping that the old school crew can shine once again. Here is “LaLaLa,” commentary and all, to give you a taste. It’s got a little Eastern/psychedelic flavor that may make for an interesting full length.
