My only contact with Spank Rock until now has been through a variety of hipsters’ year end lists, many of which touted the group as hip hop’s missing link. Whatever they do they sound pretty good doing it – their sound comprised of disco styled toasting over upbeat grooves with a hint of Bootsy to top things off. Thanks to Spinner for pointing us in the direction of the group’s recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
