If 50 Cent really wanted to win the sales competition that was set between himself and Kanye West, he could have very well bought a million albums at retail price and taken the victory. Kanye, however, might not have had the same luxury as he doesn’t have “fuck you type money,” or so he says during this interview series with Spike Jonze. Setting: Kanye West and Hype Williams editing the video for “Cant’ Tell Me Nothing” with Spike Jonze moderating questions surrounding Kanye’s career, his ego and his outlook on his career. Unshockingly Kanye explains that he’s twice as cocky as he let’s on with his public persona but there is an upside to such a statement - he is never willing to settle. And therein lies the separation between himself and 50, the release of Curtis was 50 Cent settling. In all honesty, this series develops Kanye as a human being…something difficult to envision him as through the media and his own tirades…a must see, for sure.
