Suster Suvi “Golden”

sister suvi now i am champion

Shortly after discovering Merril Gerbus’s experimental pop-folk project tUnE-YaRds, I found out that she is also the principal vocalist for Toronto group Sister Suvi. Suvi showcases Merril’s more mainstream side though they still have a pretty eclectic sound (compared to tUnE-YaRds though most bands sound more mainstream). Check out the far out psychedelic/folk stylings of “Golden” off of the group’s upcoming full length. If you dig you can pre-order a copy of the record Now I am a Champion for whatever you want to pay at the band’s website.
