Tapes ‘n Tapes announces trio of Minneapolis dates

As fans continue to wait for Tapes ‘n Tapes’ forthcoming third album, the band has just announced that it will be hitting up its hometown with a rare series of intimate shows in October which promise to deliver big things. From the band, “Tapes will be announcing the openers one by one in the coming weeks. Expect many wonderful surprises, lots of new songs and much rocking. These shows are going to be better than Joe Mauer sitting in the spoon at Spoonbridge and Cherry, eating a Juicy Lucy while rocking out to Prince. Well, maybe not, but we’ll certainly try.

10.01 Minneapolis: 7th St. Entry (18+)
10.02 Minneapolis: Music Box Theater (18+ | ACOUSTIC SHOW)
10.03 Minneapolis: Turf Club (21+)

Considering that the capacity of all three of these venues combined doesn’t match that of First Avenue’s Mainroom (which the band headlined and subsequently sold out earlier this year) this is an insane opportunity. What’s even more insane is the price: tickets for all three shows are priced at a mere $10 each. Tickets go on sale August first through the usual First Avenue (which is sponsoring all three events) outlets.
