Tegan and Sara have been making the rounds recently in promotion for their latest release, The Con. Having previously played Late Night once before the duo returned late last month to Conan’s stage performing the album’s first single, “Back In Your Head” with AFI’s Hunter Burgan adding a touch of shaker in the background.

Also stopping by the Spinner offices, Tegan and Sara played four songs during their studio session. Afterwards responding to a question regarding The White Stripes’ cover of their “Walking With a Ghost” it was divulged that they first heard it when Meg White came to one of their shows and played the song for them backstage. Also discussed is the differences between living in Vancouver and Montreal, their cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing in the Dark” and mashups.
