The Cat Empire on The Late Show with David Letterman.jpg

The Cat Empire are an award-winning six piece outfit hailing from Melbourne, Australia. Their sound is a little jazz, a dash of rock with a cheeky dollop of Latin funk. Renowned for their energetic live shows, the lads supported legend James Brown on his 2004 Australian tour. While The Cat Empire has enjoyed a high level of success in their homeland, the band is now concentrating on cracking the US market. Check out Australia’s favourite party band busting a move on David Letterman with their track ‘Sly’. Get your dance pants on!

I saw these guys in Denver, they really do put on a good show. From what I hear from long time fans, it’s a different experience every time. Can’t wait to see them again.
