(Inter)National:
— Jon Pareles recaps My Bloody Valentine’s first American concert in some 16 years for The New York Times, “There were no new songs in My Bloody Valentine’s set on Sunday, but as in the ’80s and early 1990s, My Bloody Valentine’s music flashed simultaneous, contradictory signals: the songs were bruised and hurting at their core but exultantly propulsive, catchy like punk and pop but spiked with fearsome cacophony.” (link)
— The trailer to Notorious, the Christopher Wallace biopic, has been released. (link) The only positive thing I can say about the trailer is that it doesn’t look half as bad as Alligator Boots. (link)
— Ever wonder what your Wu-name would be? Mine’s Partially-Formed Transformah. (link)
— About’s Henry Adaso champions 2Pac’s “Keep Ya Head Up” as the best of the “22 Best Songs by Tupac Shakur.” (link)
