With recent performances by indie rock fan favorites Spoon and The National on The Late Show with David Letterman one could ask not merely which band had the better performance, but which has the best album (of the year?)? I’d have to give Spoon’s “The Underdog” a bit of an upper hand, but in the end I believe the better album goes to Boxer (not album of the year).
