The Real McKenzies @ The Republik tonight
There are but a few bands in North America that embody the passionate flare for drinking and celebration as Vancouver’s Real McKenzies. Though not the traditional soundtrack to the yearly Irish-flavoured drink-a-palooza, the Scottish-inspired punk band nonetheless makes for a joyous way to ring in the St. Patrick’s Day tradition of getting blackout drunk on green beer. Also performing will be Vancouver’s Dreadnoughts and Calgary’s Rum Rummer.
