The YouTube page for “Gangsters” has a note mentioning that it’s the band’s first television appearance since 1981. If that’s even remotely true–how huge of a coup did Jools Holland pull with that one?
All I have as a point of reference are the band’s recordings… but they sound just as on the mark now as they did then.

Beautiful. Yeah they’re old – but so is everyone like me who remembers them as the only band that mattered.
I was 11 in 1979 & they clued me & millions more in to The Attitude, The Tunes, The Look, The Politics… The Fucking Lot.
They sound great, and they deserve this victory lap and I just hope Jerry can see a way to fuck the beef & prove what unity is really about.
