This Week in Mashups (02/10/2008)

DJ Schmolli released his greatly teased Falco mashup album this week, Falco Re:Loaded. It works for the most part and if for no other reason it should be applauded for trying to make Falco’s music listenable.

(Falco vs. Afrika Bambaataa vs. Wu-Tang Clan)

The Hood Internet blazed this week putting up three new mashups and a remix. This track tops the bunch combining two of this week’s highest profile acts.

(Flo Rida vs. Hot Chip)

Around the blogs: This week JP’s Blog introduced me to a long-since-released gem back from when Jay-Z first put out his vocal tracks from The Black Album – entitled simply enough The MF Black Album. As implied it simply mashes Jay & Doom (though I can’t seem to find out which producer/DJ put this together), but in the light of the recent mash releases tackling American Gangster I thought it a good idea to check out another mashup record that lead the way. Check the entire thing out below as it’s well worth your time.
