Doc Rok himself thinks that this is the best work he’s done so far, and considering the genius behind some of his other work, that’s one hell of a statement. This is a strong release, but like dj BC’s Wu-Orleans it lacks a lot of bounce…both sets realistically acting as a couple of the most talented examples of production in the genre, but still… Far more evident with this set, than say, Wu-Orleans is the focus that’s left on 50 Cent’s rhymes…when you take a beat away from 50 you don’t leave him with much at all.

The Hood Internet’s ABX bounced an old Busta track off of the latest M83 this week, the resulting track sounds a bit like the crew from Coming To America blazing down the French Riviera.
