Just in time for the touring season comes the new single from Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. What else would you expect, it’s great. A harder song than a lot of Petty’s later albums with a Thorogood-esque intro, and I completely dig that. Check it out!

A little too ZZ Top, IMHO, but as a lifelong Petty fan (since ‘76, baby) … I love it nonetheless. At least he puts his own special spin on this well-worn lick …

Haven’t listened to any Petty in awhile. It sounds good. I do agree with the ZZ Top reference - you almost expect to hear “howr howr howr.”
