Travis Barker’s “Low” Studio Session

Submitted by Chris DeLine on January 16, 2008 – 8:25 pm2 Comments

I enjoy Travis Barker in the way that I enjoy Tom Cruise, I rarely have anything good to say about the man but I pay attention all the same because of celebrity. That sounds kind of mean actually, I don’t think that Barker is bound to do anything that will put him remotely in the same arena as Cruise… cough, cough. I enjoyed Barker’s short-lived reality series and it wasn’t too long ago that he was a key part of a pretty cool band with Rob Aston and Tim Armstrong (who is currently recording the follow up to Rancid’s 2003 album Indestructable). It’s such shining glimpses of talent, such as this video, that keep him out of that whole Cruise sub-level of bizarre psycho-celebrity. How’s that for a back-handed compliment? Any way you look at it, this is the best version of Flo Rida’s “Low” that I’ve ever heard. Which really isn’t saying much, now that I think of it. Here’s some more Barker footage:
