I thought this was classic U2 at their best.I love it when you hear
that U2 is the musical guest because you know that you will get at
least 3 songs played.Heck most of the time they play a minu-concert
for the audience(You dont see ANY ONE do that EXCEPT U2)U2 rocks
and wont end soon.Megan Fox however was as boring and vapid as she
always is—-can anyone tell me why this bitc* if famous???

    Anyways back to U2….youre AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Bonogirl, every band that gets on SNL would play for an hour if the show would let them. U2 is allowed to play the extra song. It’s not that they’re more magnanimous than other performers, it’s they’re more powerful.

  • cut em off before the ultraviolet ended. blasphemy

  • Loved this version of moment of surrender-Bono has a little rap going. EL4554 I dont think very many other bands would give an hour. U2 always gives their audience and fans more. I know I’ve been to several of their shows and have always gotten my moneys worth. Who else actually thanks their fans for their life style and always pulls people on stage to share the glory. Who else thanks GOD while giving a show. There may be a few but not many. Maybe GOD gives them the power.

  • These guys are the natural heirs to The Beatles. They are the best band on the planet by far and this is a great performance from yet another classic album- No line On The Horizon. Ultraviolet of course being from Achtung Baby. Thanks for posting this.

  • This was a real treat! Ultraviolet has been one of my favorite U2 songs for over a decade. It just shows that U2 doesn’t forget their fans. Awesome version! The boys just keep getting better. Long live U2!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I missed it. Dammmm. Anyone know where I can see it?

  • U2 is POWERFUL!!! Bono is SEXY, SEXY SEXY !!

  • Fer fecks sake!! U2 lost it. Nothing rocked. Remember albums like “October” and “War?” NO? They don’t either!!! 1 song was enough on SNL. I was a huge fan back in early 80s. Album sold poorly, and they are dinosaurs, just like the Stones now, saddly.

  • Just saw them in Vegas and I’ll never be able to enjoy another concert. Nothing else could compare. It was the best I’ve ever seen by far. The stage that they put up is worth the price of admission right there, but the band sounded incredible and Bono has never been better.

Anybody who thinks U2 “doesn’t rock” anymore hasn’t seen their show.

  • Sean are you really Chris Martin? Sounds like it.
