I remember the Beatles’ first appearance on the Ed Sullivan show. U2 blows them out of the water. Ever since the first time I heard “Beautiful Day” it has sent chills down my spine. I’m 62, and still get those kind of chills. Ain’t that peculiar? Our generation is like no other in history. I get chills listening to Social Distortion singing “Mommy’s Little Monster”….We had Jim Morrison when we were kids. End of story kiddies.

  • A true sign of a truly great band is one that can perform so well on stage that it sounds like it could be in the studio. U2 doesn’t miss a beat!
