The Amherst trio had towers of amps stacked up all over the stage, including one that was pointed directly towards front man J Mascis, in case his monitors weren’t providing him enough of his own guitar sound. And not having enough sound has never really been a problem for the group, and it certainly wasn’t on this evening as the band tore through a fiery 90 minute set that spanned the band’s entire career.

Sweet. We are Scientists are badass. I like that you are giving away vinyl too.

Did you know that sales have vinyl have actually increased 500% every year for the past five years. It’s true – because it sounds better than tinny mp3s…

  • Liz says:

Interesting link…Do you really need a program to generate random numbers?

Keith and Chris are amazingly awesome and witty.

  • alex says:

Ha these guys are so funny! and i heart their music!

  • M W says:

Why oh Why aren’t they the biggest band in America?
I saw them at the Roxy in Atlanta a few years ago. They had a great stand up routine between songs. The bass player really looked like Howard Stern back then.
He still kind of does…mostly the Howard Stern role that Howard STern plays in the movie private parts when he is playing a much younger version of himself with an actress that for some reason was much hotter than his real wife?

Anyhow…The Men of Science rock it to me in 2D for the time being…come back to the ATL

  • Peter says:

I have a record player, and I like free stuff. I could give the wax a nice home.
