Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ recent Is Is EP didn’t initially strike me nearly as strong as past efforts despite my initial love of “Down Boy.” But that being said I’ve since come to really enjoy the 5 song set as a whole and despite the actual age of the songs I feel that they sound like a fresh band, ready to redefine itself in a way similar to how it once introduced itself with its Master EP.
