Zaza “Sooner or Later”

zaza cameo ep

Brooklyn duo Zaza seems poised to blow up on the national scene soon as they are getting lots of love from the important places. They have already gotten enough buzz to lead them to (unfortunately) pull their EP off of their website where previously they had been giving it away for free. Here is a tidbit of it anyway, the EP’s best track “Sooner or Later.” It’s a very dark atmospheric song with very subtle tribal influences in the pounding rhythm patterns. In a way it is very much a modern reprisal of the shoegaze sound, just with better production value and a much more encompassing sound.
