Online fun
So, you got your hands on GTA V, stepped out into the wild streets… and got mowed down like a wilted flower? If so, probably now is the time to get the most out of GTA V Social Club. Even if you didn’t experience any significant setbacks, it is always good to have a plan B (or C and D, just as long as you don’t bank on only one option). There’s an expansive list of things that Social Club can bring to the table, but probably the most important one, when it comes to online games, is connectivity. And to be more precise, we are talking about Crews. In essence, Crew is a group of like-minded people who all work towards the same goal. Similar to guilds in many other online games, Crews that are available with GTA V Social Club serve to elevate the gameplay, this is achieved by the ability to tackle missions and content that otherwise wouldn’t be accessible to a solo player. In this regard, nothing really changes from the usual guild structure of the genre.
Crew types
The true differences are visible only when you start to delve deeper into the role of Crews within the game. Let’s start with the fundamentals, once you create a Crew, you have to pick one of five available directions you want to take your group to Chatter Boxes, Thrill Seekers, Rebels, Soldiers, and All-Stars; think of it like classes for your guild, how cool is that? This way, GTA V Social Club allows for some differentiation among the crews.
Of course, while the name indicating the type won’t have any pros or cons in terms of gameplay, it can be viewed as a guiding star to those who want to join – picking a type that suits your preference is way better and makes for a smoother play. As opposed to the slogging through Crew missions that you hate. Be mindful of your capabilities and interests, and do not just join one because the Crew has a ton of members (however tempting that might look). GTA is about freedom, so make good use of it!
Log in to GTA V Social Club, create a Crew, gain the first members, and immediately receive the ability to distinguish them from the masses, by ranking them. Different ranks allow for separate liberties in the Crew – think along the lines of traditional officers. They can invite new players, manage the existing roster, and maybe even organize events and missions in your stead if you trust them enough. Obviously, the supreme power to decide still belongs to the leader, as a precaution, so nothing untowardly could happen to your Crew!
Working for pay
GTA V Social Club gives the player plenty of opportunities to get ahead and succeed. And the one driving force behind many freedoms is, of course, money. The best way to earn cash is to do jobs – missions that offer rewards, after all, this is an online game. And the easiest way to find yourself in action is to go to storm places with your crewmates! Not only is it fun, as you can joke and mess around and be generally goofy, but you will also have the reliable support to achieve victory… or at the very least GTA V Social Club will provide a good time!
With jobs and their successful completion comes reputation (an equivalent to experience points). It is needed to advance, improve your skills, and gain new rank. Rank is something that distinguishes you from other players, as it is the collective sum of your Reputation points. Currently, there are 10 ranks in total, with the greatest one named Kingpin. And what sort of self-indulged culprit wouldn’t want to be known by such an infamous title?
Variety of Crews in town
If you don’t want to scratch from scratch and build your Crew from the grounds up, consider joining a worthy gang instead. In GTA V Social Club there’s a wide selection of already-formed groups available, each with already set goals and playstyles, so pick and choose as you will – but remember, the Crew has a right to be picky as well. You don’t become one of the best by accepting people left and right. One such Crew would be NoDo PC.
They have a fantastic and long-running career. Their achievements echoed in the community as far back as 2015 when the group was still playing on PS4. The Crew is still going strong on GTA V Social Club! Now, almost half a decade later, NoDo is dominating the PC front as well, with roughly 1000 members. Join them and – if you are worthy – you’ll be on the fast lane to success. But they are not the only contenders for the throne of the best, plenty of other crews are working hard to make a name for themselves, and you can as well become a part on REBL MC, TROP2CREW, TheLowlyGentlemen and many more!
Co-op to play your best
There is a great variety of Crews, full of like-minded people driven by the same goal. You never have to play alone… and you shouldn’t, as GTA V Social Club was created for people to cooperate. You cannot become the next king of the streets if you do all the work by yourself. Group up, learn, improvise and delegate – earn your spot as a reliable member and rise in ranks. If you are thinking to start the game now, be sure to snag the Premium Edition of GTA V!
It will provide your gameplay with instantaneous boost by offering valuable resources to a newly created character. Don’t start your first steps like a fish out of water. It’s your job to make the best impression possible to the many in-game recruiters in GTA V Social Club. Your street cred is directly tied to how much power (fire and otherwise) you carry with you. Don’t be left in the dust, grab every advantage, and show them who’s the next Kingpin in the making!
