Betcris has teamed up with Genius Sports as the leading sports betting operator in Latin America continues to expand its footprint. The company partnered with Genius Sports earlier this month in a three-year deal strategic relationship to give it access to Genius Sports’ complete list of official sports data content, including a full NFL product suite. Betcris is the NFL’s official sports betting partner in Latin America.
Through the agreement, Betcris, which is also MLB’s official partner in Latin America, will add Genius Sports’ innovative data solutions to power live experiences for sports fans and bettors throughout the region. The operator will also have access to Genius Sports’ proprietary and official data, as well as its live video feed for thousands of events per year. This gives Betcris official NFL data products, dynamic content and player acquisition and retention solutions.

The initiative follows an expansion by Betcris into new regions. It recently opened an office in Poland as a means to break into the European market. The experience acquired in the country will allow Betcris to understand European sports betting patterns and the profile of the local bettor. This will also serve as a springboard the operator can use to scale across the region.
Last year, Betcris began researching how to become part of Poland’s legal sports betting scene and quickly understood the potential. In 2020, Poland saw a sports betting handle of approximately $1.85 billion, with private operators delivering a combined $205.6 million in tax revenue to the country. Over the past two years, Poland’s sports betting market has witnessed double-digit growth in the online gaming segment, with extensive gains seen during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, as the country continues to grow its market, Betcris will be able to take full advantage of the benefits and deliver its same innovative solutions to Polish bettors.
