Located on the east coast of the Mediterranean Sea, playa Flamenca is well-known throughout the year and is on the verge of being the ultimate destination for everything, from leisure to accommodation. The sandy beaches create an incredible hotspot for the locals and tourists in the area. Amenities and facilities are abundant, and so, you never have to worry about the comfort of you and your kids. Here is a complete guide for newbies:
Location
It happens to fall under the Orihuela town hall and is bordered by the famous La Zenia to the south. The northern part of the area is close to a natural area, growing and undeveloped, that stretches around a kilometer or more to the beach. The undeveloped area is an excellent stop for real estate investment bearing in mind its proximity to Punta Prima resort. Playa Flamenca offers easy access, on the west, to Cartagena and Alicante on the north side of Costa Blanca.
The locality has two international airports, Corvera region de Murcia airport and Alicante-Elche airport. Both of them are quite close to each other with a 50-minute drive difference.
History
This area saw construction commence from as early as 1972. This is when a group of Dutch business investors saw it as a potential luxurious and profitable area. They are the people responsible for what we see today as an ideal location for leisure and holiday excitement. Today, new leisure facilities and commercial centers are on the rise, and there is a lot to what the future holds.
Properties
You can’t miss the ideal property for sale in Playa Flamenca, especially if you are the type that loves villas. The beachfront and seafront residential areas are a bit competitive as you might miss a slot if you are not aggressive enough. However, the other properties are easier to access. Aside from detached villas, Playa Flamenca also has storey properties. The beachfront properties have premium costs and thus might be a little bit expensive depending on how much you have planned to spend.
Apartments with newer designs are located inland, slightly away from the beach and coast. The only downside about these particular houses is that they are based on smaller parcels of land. However, most of these apartments are affordable and have modest housing and tend to appeal more to prospective buyers.
The ancient types of properties are more susceptible to damage as their structures are weak when compared to modern properties. Besides, modern houses have more detail and are more appealing. Most of the land in Playa Flamenca has been used up with the area close to full development. It is, therefore, challenging to find undeveloped plots of land.
Facilities
There are more than enough amenities in Playa Flamenca. First, one primary facility that people look out for is transport. You can be rest assured that transport is well-catered for with the presence of numerous public transport links and regular buses scheduled to ferry people from different locations. There are also clean and safe swimming waters which comprise of the white sandy beaches and a traditional Spanish beach bar with bar services for refreshments. Besides, you won’t miss local shops, bistro, cafes, and restaurants. In fact, the area has a popular restaurant known as the lobster restaurant, serving seafood and other cuisines.
